Sick toddler :(

My 19 month old started puking in the middle of the night Thursday and all day Friday. She was ok in the day Saturday except she got sick again at night right before bed. She had been vomit free for 2 days ...until tonight..when she woke up after she went to bed a projectile vomited up everything she had eaten today all over me .
I feel so bad for her...is this normal though? The getting better and then WHAMMO! I haven't called the doctor yet, since she is staying hydrated, etc.
Thanks ladies!

my LO did that twice before ....she was sleeping then in the middle of the night just threw up everything she ate....choked on some of it ....scared me but after two nights it went away....this happened after she got over a cold so i just figured she threw up w/e grossness was left

I know, it is super scary (and gross haha). I was just getting so excited that she was starting to finally feel better

Huge to you both, I think it's ok as long as its not constant throwing up and not holding down liquids. Ellie had vomiting a couple of months ago where she was drinking barely enough and not eating anything so I know how awful it is. It knocked her for six and she was sick for a good week, so Lila could be feeling yucky for a bit longer. Hope not and hope she feels better really soon

Oh poor Ellie! I didn't realize she was sick for so long . I really hope tomorrow she wakes up feeling better. I did read somewhere tha giving too much food too fast could make this happen. Hugs for you <3

Yeah especially if her belly wasn't 100 percent yet. The worst thing in the world is a sick baby! I thought the sniffles was bad but the vomiting is definitely worse, so I feel for you. Lots of love.
