phenergan

may be TMI but who has used the phenergan suppository for nausea? did it work? how long until you can have a bowel movement? hoping this helps with my morning sickness

it's the only thing that helped me.. but it did make me feel like I had to take a massive poop right away...

I took it orally and by suppository for the entire first trimester. It helped on occasion, but I had severe HG. Honestly, I usually had to poop within 10-20 minutes of inserting it. You might experience the same. You HAVE to resist the urge and hold it in until 45 minutes to an hour has passed since placement of the suppository to get the full effect of the medication. This is also stated on the leaflet included in the box.

How often did you have to use it to keep m/s away? and do you know how long it takes to absorb before you can use the bathroom?!

I had HG with my daughter..its so so awful. I don't have it to this extent this time. I'm 8 weeks so it'd probably have started by now. don't you think?

it's been years, but I took it for the first month, and I believe it was 30-45 minutes...

It's hard to say. I know with my second I didn't develop HG until like 12 weeks  

My doctor gave that to me for at night but during the day she gave me Zofran because it does not make you tired!
