Totally normal. I gained 20lbs in 5 months while nursing and was spending over 600 bucks at the commissary every 2 weeks. My husband was deployed so I was the only adult eating  . The insane hunger does subside eventually.

Don't feel terrible! It's your body communicating with you, listen to it. You won't blow up, promise.

I was that way as well. When I nursed to curb that I would eat a granola bar with each nursing and drink a bottle of water. I found that I wasn't actually hungry but dehydrated. I also actually use a product called REHYDRATE. It is AMAZEBALLS!!! lol It is not only great for keeping hydrated after a workout, being sick, hang over and nursing but it is a great way to get in some vitamins as well. I was turned on to it by a friend when I was going thru my surgeries. I couldn't eat or drink so of course I was dehydrated and that resulted in migraines. Anyway, to shorten my rambling, it is really good stuff and when nursing, you do get dehydrated very easily. It is expensive to start. Well, it seems that way. It averages like $1.00 a drink but because you buy the tub it is costly. They do have pouches that are cheaper if you want to try them. If nothing else, they are great to curb a nasty hangover! lol

. Like I said, it is great for hangovers, dehydration of any type and to help with migraines. My favorite flavore is the mango pinapple. I like it ice cold. My kids like the grape just as any kid would. lol I do give it to them when I see them getting dehydrated. I don't give it to them often for the same reason you don't give your kids sports drinks. It does contain electrolites. It is great to have around the house during flu season though.
