TTC after miscarriage

Looking for some ladies to join me in this thread!! I went through a miscarriage at 12+3 in October and getting ready to ttc this month!! Excited also nervous, I tested positive for something called cardiolipin IGA, which might cause clotting, but my levels were very low so im waiting to hear from my doc as to whether i will benefit from taking a blood thinner for my next pregnancy...noone knows for certain why i miscarried in October...but i suppose clotting is a possibility because of this!!! Currently on cd 22, and we did not 'try' this cycle, but happened to dtd the day after ovulation...so i suppose theres a slight chance...but not getting hopes up because it seems very unlikely.....

You gave your body plenty of time to heal, id say go for it. I have had a number of MCs before 2 in one year, my doctor told me to wait 2 months to try again after one, and then one told me it was Ok to try after your back on a regular cycle.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had 3 miscarriages, then was able to go for testing and found out I have MTHFR and other clotting factors. I took aspirin while TTC and now I inject myself daily with Lovenox - a blood thinner. I'm surprised they did a clotting panel so soon. They made me wait until after my 3rd loss. I wish you the best in your TTC journey.

Sorry about your loss! I mc in July and this is my first month back to TTC. Not sure why I miscarried. I am on CD 19. I'm having some weird pains and I am hoping it is implantation!   Good luck to you!

Did you have one successful pregnancy before finding out about MTHFR? I am debating taking baby aspirin in case that is why I miscarried. My doctor said I could, but I know aspirin is bad for baby if it isn't necessary right? I just don't want it to happen again! The hospital screwed up my testing so I won't know what happened to the baby.

Yeah, I had my daughter and then 3 miscarriages. I took aspirin and extra folica cid. Now that I'm pregnant, I'm on progesterone suppositories and Lovenox injections.

Is baby aspirin such a low dose that it definitely wont hurt a baby?   I'm worried about everything. I will be on progesterone again too.

It should be fine, but it's something to discuss with your doctor. Some women take it while TTC to help strengthen the lining of the uterus.

I would only take baby aspirin if told to do so by a doctor. I was tested for the clotting issues during my yearly check up with my rheumatologist..i have reynauds disease and ive had problems with bleeding previously during a surgery...so he decided to send me for the bloodwork just for the possibility of an answer....im awaiting an appointment with a hematologist...my results were very low positive numbers so im not sure whats going to happen but id like to get this sorted out soon because i want to be ready! Thanks for all the replies!!! Ive been registered on here for a while but have never really been active on the site...

TMI-I have large clots during AF...could that be a sign of clotting issues?
