wtf does that even mean? i don't get how someone can want to take care of their child but isn't ready to be it's parent.

And why exactly are you with this person if he wants nothing to do with your pregnancy and he's not ready to be a father?

Same! My bf didn't want the baby or want to be a father! He didn't want to touch my stomach while I was pregnant. Said it was gross.

I now do everything! He helps out, he's been helping a little more now than when our son was first born. (He plans to help more once I go back to work, but says for now that its my job cause I don't work and he has to work in the morning, so I do all night stuff. He sometimes helps during the day and at night. When he isn't working.) He admitted that he was terrified of being a father since he had never even been around a baby before. He's been around a toddler that was like 2 or 3, but never a new born baby.

Maybe he's just super frightened. It is a HUGE responsibility. I feel like guys just freak out more than girls do... idk why, but they are just terrified. I think it may have something to do with them thinking that babies are super fragile and they are afraid to do something wrong and "break" the baby or hurt them. That's how my bf feels, he always feels like he's going to do something wrong. He asked the Dr. About the soft spots on the head cause he thought that if you even touch it you could do serious damage.
