start talking properly?
I thought Jasper was pretty spot on (if not ahead) in his milestones.
He is smart for his age and people always comment on it, but he probably says 10 words tops, I just saw someone write on a parenting group on fb and said her daughter is copying everything they say now....she is 18 months and Jasper is 20 months.
Now Im kind of worried that he isnt saying enough words.

Not until he was about 4. He was a late talker.

Define properly.
I know adults that still don't speak "properly" (i.e. enunciating, proper sentence structure, etc)
Heathen is 4 and will talk your ear off if you let her, but she still has trouble pronouncing words. And forget about 'th' and 'ch'

My 15 month old doesn't say much. She is just really starting to even try. She babbles like crazy and understands what I am saying to her.

10words for a ten month old is great! DD didn't say ten words till 1.5 years old

Chloe is 17mo and if I say something like, "are you all done?" She'll say, "all done." But I don't consider that speaking properly...my kids were probably mid 2's before a full sentence came out. (And even that sounded like a foreigner talking...lol)

My 16 month old just really started trying to talk within the past 2 months. And the words definitely aren't clear, but you can tell what she is trying to say.

Every child is different. My oldest hardly talked at all until he was about 2 1/2...then out of nowhere he just started talking very clearly non stop. My 4 year old just recently started talking more and more clearly. Now my 2 year old can talk clear as day and has a huge vocabulary. She talks way better than her 4 year old brother.

My son was an early talker and could tell stories by 2.5 and spoke in sentences early and had a huge vocabulary.
DH says its because he's like his mama---apparently I never shut up!

My oldest DD was stringing 3-4 words together by 2 but my youngest DD just turned 2 and has only really started saying more words within the last month or two.
