implantation???

Alright ladies,
I know this question has been asked probably a million and one times but I'm going to again. I got my mirena out on Dec 3rd. Period on dec 5 for about 7 days. I was supposed to ovulate sometime around the 17th ish. DH and I went at it like crazy in hopes for a +. However on dec 30th I started spotting, then the 31 and 1 holy mother of mary it was like the period after having a child then stopped completely after those two days. I had cramping and felt sick during that time. I know all women are different and implantation is usually barely anything at all but I've also read in certain cases that it can be just like a period. In the 10 years I've been having AF my periods have never once been early. This time it was 4 days earlier than scheduled. I don't want to test because I don't want the get the - of a test. Any suggestions?! Or anyone that has before been in this position and had heavy implantation bleeding?

I saw my Dr today and they said test to be sure since everyone's different. I never had it with my daughter so I have no clue. I'm wondering if it's possible my body is still getting used to no bc at all
