florida court question
posted 7th Jan
Does anybody have an experience with Florida law in regards to abandonment? I'm just not sure how long it is down here and haven't found a lawyer yet but I will be going probably soonish.
Long story short Ex sent an email offically stating he has no interest in being a father and is walking away...he didn't tell me he was moving to Maine. I found out through his sister on xmas day he was moving through the pics she posted and labeled such...I know through various sources he's offically up there.
Now I'm just trying to figure out my course of action in regards to full custody since he's walked away, would the letter and moving suffice or would it have to be a certain amount of time with no contact.
Yes this would lead to child support since my previous questions have involved such and my avoidence of it all...he's moved I know him he has no interest in flying anybody anywhere even to spite me.

If you want full custody and want him to have zero right, then why would you want child support from him.?
And you're right next to me!

I honestly don't care about child support just every single time I freaking ask a question somebody brings it up.

I have this same question, even though my ex pays child support sporadically, I have an email stating he wants to give away rights to our 6 year old son. He has since disappeared. The email address is inactive and I don't know where he has moved and no way to contact him. I wonder if just having that email is enough to file abandonment and have his name removed off everything. I don't even want child support, just want to unlink him from my son.

I could give a damn about child support, but like always somebody is more then willing to say something combative and not have an answer I was just hoping somebody might have an insight looks like I'm gonna have to take a day off work and find a legal consultant
