My friend and her son were in the Aurora theater shooting. The next day she went out shopping and WOULD NOT speak about what happened. Her son went and finished the movie 2 days later. They were "going through the motions" of life... but in private they had some pretty horrible moments. My fried finally went to a movie not too long ago and she could barely sit through it. She did know someone that did actually die too. But then there are days that shes out doing her regular stuff.... happy and herself.

People grieve differently and respond to situations like that differently. I dont think I could let Lily go to a movie after 2 days... but for her son he needed to go in order to get on in life. So point proven.. people do respond differently.

Its sickening to say that people arent grieving the "correct" way.

It was good. Quite funny, I kinda felt out of place. I was obviously the youngest person there and I'm 22. Lol. But lots of laughs from the men venting about pregnancy problems. That's what tonight's class was about it...pregnancy changes and complications.

OH I loved that class! The men were all PMS-y and bitchy when I had mine! I think that was the class or 2 before I found out DD was all turned badly and I had to have a C-sec to get her out.  

Speaking of DD, I finally found a red meat that the little butt will eat. Venison. Child hates cow meat with a passion, but I can make Venison any way I want to, and she wolfs it down faster than a kid would eat cake. Interesting toddler I have...
