Lunch help

posted 7th Jan
I had a turky sandwich and part of a cucumber but I'm still hungry. How many calories should you have per meal? This was just under 200. I want to have some fruit too. Is 300 good per meal? Km trying to stay between 1200-1500 a day to lose weight.

At 300 calories per meal u could have 4-5 meals a day. Are u trying to lose or maintain weight?

If you're going to have 4-5 meals per day, then you could stick with 300 per meal. If you're only eating three times per day, then you should average 400-500 per meal to stay within 1200-1500.

I will probably do four, 300 calorie meals and fill in with a couple 100 cal snacks if needed

What is it allowing you? I was at 1200 calories. Sometimes I went over. But after awhile I had to get really strict on the 1200 cause I started to plateau. It's hard to stick to that on regular meals at least it was for me. It takes a lot of discipline. I had to drink Isalus shakes for breakfast in order to keep under my calories for the day. So I'd have about 200 for breakfast (that's te shake) I tried to save at least 500 for dinner. Then I'd adjust lunch as needed depending how many snacks I would eat. I was seriously disciplined. My SO was impressed and he's ready for me to not be preg so we can get back on the train haha. He's not disciplined enough without me doing it too.

Trust me if you are not used to eating this little it is gonna be hard to stick to 3 meals a day. U really need to snack all day or you'll feel like you're tarbong and won't wanna continue. My goal was to make each thing I out in my mouth as little calories as possible. I'd try to save as much as I could without being hungry for nighttime. That way I had enough for dinner and maybe a snack before bed if I couldn't sleep because of hunger.

And u have to get good at shopping. You have to look for te choices with the lowest calories. It took me forever to shop at first cause I was comparing the calories in EVERYTHING!!

Holy smurf. Whats u put for all your things?!?! I work with a lady who was pretty big and hers started at 1200. But it might depend on the settings it's at. She lost a lot of weight though. She did awesome.

Thanks but I've done this before. I am incredibly good at shopping. And at 1500 calories that's enough for 4 meals and 3 snacks a day
