Can I Go Skating...

5 weeks post partum?

Our town has the pond in the park cleared off for the winter...The ice is fantastic, and the weather is nice enough for a skate today.

Before I was pregnant, I was a diehard skater...and a pretty insane hockey player. So I'm not worried about balance or anything. I can skate.

Obviously I won't be ripping around in the pick up game, but if I was to bundle Abby up, put her in the stroller, and go for a light skate, would that be alright? I've been cleared for light exercise by my doctor, and I just want to make sure that it's ok to skate post partum.

Just take it easy on your groin area, no crazy cross overs or anything lol

Me neither, I got my skates sharpened last year and took dd out and she was terrified! lol needless to say I didn't get much time in, but we are getting her new skates for her birthday this month, she says shes ready to try again. My son has been buggin for some too so it should be fun.
