  I was on Depo for a year and it was amazing. It did cause me to gain weight but I was severely underweight so it wasn't a big deal. My BMI at the time was like 14.

The patch made my skin itchy around the area the patch was and it would always get stuck to my clothes and curl up and almost fall off, it worked well for me just depends. If you have issues with one birth control your dr probably wont recommend another hormonal birth control. Are you looking for a permanent birth control if your done having children than you can look into Adiana or Essure. Adiana is like a tubal ligation without the surgery.. just two tiny rice sized plugs they put into your Fallopian tubes and your body grows tissue around them to prevent sperm from reaching the egg.

I know I probably won't want anymore kids. I'm about 90% sure I would never have another kid. But I also don't want the option taken from me, if that makes sense.

Yeah i understand i'm in the same boat. I decided to go on ortho cyclen and it works great for me so far. No weight gain etc.

Why aren't you comfortable with an IUD? I love mine. It's super awesome, and no having to change it out or remember anything.

The idea of something just hanging out in my body kinda skeeves me out. I dunno. The thought of it makes my skin crawl

I'm in the same boat & looking for a long term birth control after we have the baby & I don't want an iud, pills are horrible for me for several different reasons & in not sure what my other options are. I think im going to go with the arm thing after I talk to my dr about it

You should research it more. Maybe take a look at the IUD in person? Because, it' really super awesome. I got mine right after Serena was born, and I don't have to worry about it til 2019 haha.

Otherwise, hmm.... I dunno.
