Anterior Placenta
posted 7th Jan
I just found out last week at my 20 week ultrasound that i have anterior placenta. In a way it makes me feel better to know why i don't feel my baby as much but at the same time i hate it because i want to feel everything she does! Anyone else have this? As i get further will i feel her more?

I will 23 weeks tomorrow with number three and I have an anterior placenta this time. i felt my second all the time from about 13 weeks on but it took me until 20 weeks and some days this time to start really feeling him regularly. now i feel him all the time. It was definitely frustrating in the beginning but now that I can feel him it's so much better.

I had that with my last baby. You will definitely feel more movements as you get further along! At about 20 weeks I was still having just that flutter feeling and about 25 weeks was finally when I could feel decent movements

Thank you! At first i was getting very worried, because i felt her a time or two around 16 weeks and then nothing. My heart felt so much relief when i went in for the ultrasound and saw her little heart beating. Then to find out that the reason i don't feel her is because of the placenta. Its good to know that i will eventually feel her on a regular basis.

I have it with this pregnancy. I never had a problem feeling him move. You probably won't either
