38+5 whats happening?

Soo might be tmi but me &the mr had sex this morning &ever since my stomach has been getting rock hard &at the same time my back will kill!! Its happening like every 10 mins or.so &stays there for a while then eases off.. Just wondering what people think this is as ive never had it before?

It sounds like contractions. You said they are about ten minutes apart? Pay attention to them and start timing them. Each time one starts, count, see how long they last. Also keep track of the time in between the pain. If it's happening every 2-5 minutes, you could definitely be in early labor. If it doesn't ease up after an hour, I would call L&D.

They started about half hour ago.. I didnt think it was contractions cause im only getting back pain but this is my first baby lool.. Ill keep an eye on them! X

Yes mam, you could be in labor. A lot of mamas get all the pain in their back, hence the term "back labor".
In half an hour, they're still going.. call L&D- sex can kickstart things so you may have done just that, lol.

Contractions can be back pain

I drink plenty of water and just lay on your left side and see if they stop. Braxton hicks contractions will usually go away, real contractions won't.

Okayy i drink loads of water anyway i havent bh nefore soo dont know what there like either but my fellas moms staying with us &she said i could be in early labour too! Wanted other peoples opinions x

Starting to get period like cramps with it now.. Phoned hospital &they told me to wait untill the tightening is 5-8 mins apart..

Im still in denial lool my fella charging his camera up &everything aha.. Ive walked up &down the stairs about 10 times lool

I hope so been waiting to meet her now! Im just trying to keep myself active &busy but the back pain is killing me! Thank you   I'm hoping its not a false alarm! It shouldnt be as its been going on for about 2 hours! Lool
