She didn't ask for people to change her mind, she asked about the procedure. It isn't your son so leave it alone

My husband isn't circed and wanted our son circed... Hes a nurse, he knows exactly what may or may not happen, he knows risks, and still wanted him circed,
She asked about the care and procedure, theres no need to start waving around anyone elses beliefs...

How about you mind your own business and let her raise her kids the way her husband and her want to? SO sick of seeing these woman going off about how it's their child they can choose how to raise them, but then they harp on other moms just because they do things differently.

I don't think any of us were trying to pressure her into keeping her son intact if that's not what she wanted. It's just that from all her questions in the post, it seemed as though she may not be informed that circumcision is not required. I know there are some who don't know that, for whatever reason.

Because the informed decision is to not cut it? Not be informed and still do it? It's their sons penis that her and her so created. If she wants to circumsize its her choice.

Make more research about it first before circumcision. I didn't do my research, and I regret letting my newborn son being circumcised. I wish I could turn back time. I watched a video of how they do regular hospital circumcision and I cried. I can't believe I allowed this. I am not Jewish and there was no medical reason to cut him. His penis head is already dried up and he has penile adhesions. He is now 1 year old and we have to keep retracting his penis and still put ointment every day! As far as numbing, they can't use anesthetic on newborn. All they can do is to give him sugar pacifier. So he will definitely feel the pain.
