Bassinet/pack n play

We already have a pack n play, do you think buying a separate bassinet is necessary?

We don't have room in our bedroom for the crib, and he will be sleeping in our room for the first 6 months. Would you just put the pack n play in there and use the sleeper portion or buy a bassinet?

A bassinet would be a waste IMO stick to the pack n play.

No, I don't think it's necessary.

a bassinet would be a waste... the ONLY reason we even have one is because someone insisted it was a necessity. We don't have a lot of space and the bassinet didn't come with a stand so we're not even going to use it...

I agree with the other ladies.

I used the pack n play with my first and will be using it for the second as well. Someone tried to give us a bassinet, but I declined.

We plan on using a pack n play with the bassinet feature until our older son is ready for a big boy bed. We have no room in our bedroom for a crib either.
