First DSLR *picoverload*

So I am getting the NIKON D5100 but tonight my friend let me try out her Canon Rebel Xsi

Keep in mind this is my first time EVER using a DSLR so dont be too harsh! I know I have things to learn!















OKAY! So for a NOOB how bad is it?

I've seen Canon's in a newb hand that look bad ass. These don't look that great, what setting are you using!? I have the Nikon d5000 and I can ta keep awesome pictures or plain Jane depending on what setting I use lol

some auto focus and some manual, I played around with it

It could also be that I'm on my phone so t can take away from the quality.

Why is that cat inside out?  

The ones you took on manual look nice, but the ones you took on Auto you can tell. If you really want to learn and need help, I suggest the photography thread. It's helped me a ton.

Don't use pop up flash hun. Dslrs shouldn't even have them iIMO they do nothing good for photos.

Ha, I'm in the opposite boat. DH is allergic so that would be the kind of cat I would have to get most likely lol.

Did you use an auto setting? Sometimes it takes awhile for you to get used to the camera... I use auto more than I like to admit... lol

I don't know much about cameras, but I'm in love with that cat. Is it a Cornish Rex?

I'm deathly allergic to cats. Like puffy eyes throat closing up uncrontrollable sneezing.
But I think theyre so cute aand sassy and iit makes e ssad i ccan't get oone lol.
