MARCH MOMMIES

I cant believe we are so close already, I can't believe how fast this whole thing is going! Already getting ready for my baby shower and getting all the things I need, we just bought our first box of diapers and realized "O Smurf" this is our life from now on and realizing we really need to stock up lol! Im getting a little nervous, not about having a baby but the actual delivery "AHHHH" this is my first baby and I have really bad anxiety so I have to relax and know that I have options for pain relief  .. But I am so excited that I am going to see my smiling baby girl soon and can't wait to hold her in my arms!! Only 62 more days left : )
How are you ladies doing?

  two years ago, I was in your shoes! Now I have a bratty toddler lol.

im getting to the OMG point where I realize that I will soon be a mother to 3. I told my DH that I feel so unprepared. We have started stocking up on diapers and we have all of the big gear. Carseat, swing, bouncy seat, etc that we saved from my son who was born last december. I dont think we are having a baby shower this time around since we had one almost a yr and a half ago. No one has said anything about one (and I dont expect one) but since this is a girl and I have 2 boys I definitely need to buy her some clothes and girl blankets and such.

haha, I know but I am going to enjoy every minute that I have with her lol! I know how two year olds act but this time I wont be able to give them back to their parents haha!
 

I'm due the 26th, and I know what you mean. This pregnancy is going so much faster than my first. I feel like there is still so much to do, and time is running out lol. I think it will be better for me after the shower so I atleast know what I need to get and can budget it out. Word of advice, dont buy alot of NB diapers. We had a smurf ton of them, and our DS went straight into a size 1 at birth, and he was only 7lbs 13 oz.

wow thats crazy at least you have the big stuff thats the most expensive : ) i bought most of my babys clothes at ross or second hand stores ( the nice stuff lol) we got a ton of clothes in a little period of time it was crazy! but congrats on the baby : )

lol, ive been around a ton of babies so i knew that, thanks! we bought size 1 : ), and on my invitations i added a " bring a pack of diapers and get intered in a special drawing" its gunna be a gift basket : ) cool way to get diapers ( got it from my friends baby shower) you get a lot

Thanks and congrats on your pregnancy!! I'm not concerned about getting things from a financial standpoint. If my miserable achy pregnant body could handle it I could go out tomorrow and get it all. I just feel like it will be my luck that after I go buy all of her supplies and such that DH's family will decide they want to do a baby shower. Which would then make it unnecessary and be a waste of their money. And knowing them if they decided to do it then they wouldnt take no for an answer.I dont want to end up stepping on anyones toes, but I dont want to wait to the last minute either.And I think it'd be incredibly rude to ask if anyone was planning anything. So I really have no way of knowing what's going through their heads. By this time last pregnancy we had already had our shower and I even had our hospital bags packed. I hate feeling like i'm not on top of things.

thank you, well it seems like your in a pickle i guess it is the best thing to just buy the stuff little by little just in case! but seems weird that if they were planning something that you would have no idea!well i hope everything works out for you and you get everything you need in time!

I actually sat down and made a list of what I need to get today. DH is off the next 3 days so we are gona start working on our list this week. It made me feel so much better to actually have a list in front of me and relieved some of my anxiety actually. Now if we could just figure out a name!!!

Well thats good, im sure everything is going to be great. what are you guys leaving towards for a name??

We have a few we like, but nothing certain yet. We like, Zoey, Haven, Madaleine, and Aspen foe first names. Middle name would just depend on which first name we chose. I'm still looking for name ideas though since we havent found one that we are absolutely in love with yet.

ve always loved the name zoey but i like haven too and the other two are cute too : ) i think they are all good names are you just waiting to see which one you like or waiting to see her face to see what fits?

haha my boyfriend didnt get a choice i already had a name picked out before we got together if i ever had a girl : )
