Period or lochia?

I'm 4 weeks PP and I had a c-section.

I bled for about 2 weeks and then it tapered off and was only bleeding a small amount. Then it went to where I wouldn't bleed for a few days and then I'd bleed small amounts(not even soaking a full pad a day).

I'm still bleeding, but the blood went from dark brown blood/tissue to now bright red blood. Is it my period or still lochia? No cramping, just slight random pains in my right ovary.

until 6 weeks, i would chalk it up to lochia. i was on and off the entire 6 weeks. i'd go a few days, think i was good, no pad... then feel it come out   so gross.

I vote period, since it was a C-section...

My bleeding was like that too after I had my baby, the doctor said that's normal and wasn't a period. Stopped bleeding at about 5/6 weeks pp and haven't bled since.

Exactly. And when I do wear a pad, only a little comes out. It's ridiculous!

I was always told anything until 6 weeks was lochia.

I had a c-section and the exact same thing happened to me. I'd say it's lochia because I had no period until 4 months PP

C-section doesn't affect duration of lochia.

I vote Lochia as well. Same happened to me after my c section.
