TWW and very tired

posted 6th Jan
I have a question I have always read that being very tired is normal in the TWW and early pregnancy. Both of my TWW that led to pregnancies I was never EXTREMELY tired. I guess a little but nothing that stuck out.

OK so I am getting towards the end of my TWW and I can test very soon. MY SO had to wake me up this morning at 10:00am and that is nuts for me. My LO gets up about 8ish and I am the one who gets up with the baby. This morning my SO grabs the baby thinking I would be getting up like always and I never did. So he came to get me at 10 because the baby needed to nurse. I was shocked! Seriously shocked that I was still asleep and I was still exhausted! It hurt to get up.

Then came my LO's normal nap time at noon. So I nursed the baby down at about 1230 like always. And sometimes I fall asleep and nap with my baby for about an hour or so. Well today I did not wake up till almost 5pm!

I nursed the baby down at 1230 and when I woke up it was dark!

WTF?

I have never felt like this unless I was sick, and not during my other pregnancies.

So? What do you think? I hope I am not sick. Did you ever have something like this with your TWW or early pregnancy?

I don't remember the details, but with my second pregnancy I was very tired, had a mild fever (about 100 +/- .5 degrees) and was sure I was coming down with something. It was the first month we tried and we didn't have sex as much as we had planned so I didn't think I was pregnant.

I was pleasantly surprised when I took a test  . And then a couple more because it was very faint (at about 10 DPO).

Two Week Wait (the time between ovulation and the time a pregnancy test would give a positive).

I am always exhausted early on in pregnancies. This one has been the worst though. I will sleep all night, and feel like I have not slept at all. I am so tired all day every day...I can't even do basic chores around the house without feeling like I have done 10 times more than I actually did.....like today I washed a sick full of dishes....and I felt like I washed every single dish in my house about 10 times....lol. I'm hoping it gets better for me soon!!

I guess once I am up and going I feel awake but I have slept most of the day... I am still in my PJs because I got out of bed at 10 then went back to bed at 1230 and got up at 4 haha now its almost 8 so I have only been up about 6 hours and I am not eating dinner and about to get back in bed!

I am in my TWW and I am exhausted, but I haven't been able to sleep either. All I can think about is when I am going to POAS. I am on CD 7 today, considering testing tomorrow. Smells already smell so much worse right now.

Lol I didn't TTC so I wouldn't know about that. I thought I was just sick till I lit a smoke one day and threw up. I don't believe I waited at all to test. I got a BFP on my first try.
