Labor or what?

This is my 2nd pregnancy but i've been having cramps in my back and stomach. Sometimes they are regular then they go to irregular. They arn't my usual BH, but they arn't like my contractions when i had my daughter! i'll be 39 weeks on tues. I've lost my mucus plug about a week ago & when i walk they get stronger but when i'm on my left side they still come. Has this happened to you?

Yeah that sounds like labor is approaching probably not full on active labor yet but it sounds to me like your body's getting ready for labor my labor signs started off like that with my 1st too but that lasted another 2 days before I actually went into full labor.

Thank you, i didn't want to run to L&D if it was normal & my next apt isn't till friday & she is sweeping my membrains! TMI- I've also had diarrhea so my body is cleaning itself out!

Oooh Diarrhea is a sign of approaching labor too lol good luck girly! Not much longer or at least that's what it seems like   Wish you the best of luck and I hope labor starts soon for you..

Let me tell you. Ive been tons of back cramps and period type cramps, the are actully dilating my cervix. I have not lost my plug though. I have frequent loose bowls, im pretty sure labor is right around the corner also

yeah i called my ob last night due to brown when i wipe & she said it was a bloody show, labor is near! we will see ;p
