Watery period - 12days early?!

In September I had a miscarriage, prior to this my period cycles were anywhere from 36-42 days. Since having a miscarriage I've had one period at 32 days cycle -November-(initially I was pleased- thought I was going to start having shorter cycles) then I had a 30day cycle- December- (again happy). But today I have come on my period at only 21 days - it is very watery and bright red! I am so frustrated because my husband and I are trying for a baby and if my periods are so random I'm nonthewiser when my fertile days are! Is this period concerning- do I need to see my doctor? I have never ever had periods that were shorter than 36days until these last few months and I am concerned they are getting shorter and shorter and I may not be ovulating!?
