Hot wings help!

So, I'm making hot wings tonight..
But I don't have any honey! Our local gas station/store is out.
Is there anything I can use in place of it? All I really have is syrup lol.
Or should I just make them with just hot sauce?
Booo.

I fry the wings, then put them in a mixture of hot sauce, butter, and a splash of vinegar. Then bake them for a few minutes. I never use honey.

I was going to make honey/bbq/hot.
Usually I do what PP said, but without the vinegar, just hot sauce and butter, but the sauce never sticks well enough.
