On the go healthy foods?

posted 6th Jan
I pretty much despise cooking, and I'm getting sick of eating tuna and salad all the time. I've been losing weight with them, but I need some other foods in the mix that won't be detrimental to my progress. I eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies, so other than that and tuna, what else is there to eat without having to actually cook? Lol

Cans of soup for one. I love Progresso's hearty tomato. Actually has chunks of tomato, Mmm!!

Also fruit and yogurt smoothies. I make one with protein powder and flax seed every morning.

Sandwhiches are always a quick choice. Some lean meats, veggies, and cheese.

You can look into those healthy choice microwave meals, they are low calorie but very high in sodium. Personally I don't worry about sodium since I have no health problems related to it.

Sandwiches or wraps? What about healthy crock pot recipes? Those are easy.

The pre made ones are full of crap.

I usually throw a bunch of chicken breasts in the crock pot with water, seasonings and a bit of olive oil. When they're done I bag them jndivually and just grab one when I'm in the go.
We also eat a lot of cottage cheese.

I make my own, but have recommended this kind to people. It's not full of junk.

I leave out the garlic, which is why I make my own (most companies put garlic in it). Mmmmm...I want hummus now, but it's after dark.

I love hummus, I eat it usually with baby carrots or those little fresh mixed sweet peppers. I can kill an entire bowl in one sitting haha!
