Lovenox...

So the other day i had weird pain in my arm and i went to the er and they did an ultrasound of my arm....they found blood clots and i am now on lovenox injections twice a day. inections are going ok, i am just wondering from other moms with this what i can expect from the rest of my pregnancy(im 23 weeks) and labor?
i was really freaked out but im ok now....

I was on heparin a blood thinning injection and I was told to stop injections 24 he's before my c section. I went into labor instead so wasn't able to stop the injection before but everything was fine. No change to my pregnancy it was all normal.

You will stay on the Lovenox until around 36 weeks. If you have a history of preterm birth, they may switch you sooner, but at 36 weeks you will might start Heparin because you're not supposed to receive spinal anesthesia for a certain amount of time since your last dose of Lovenox. But yeah, for the most part this is what you can expect.
