Does your kid do this? :-/

If so, what do you do? So, if he's doing something he knows he's gonna get in trouble for, and I catch him doing it, he RUNS! (he is 4..) Our house floor plan is like a big CIRCLE and I HATE running after him!  
I find myself trying to keep up with him and when I finally get a hold of him, I seriously wanna knock his teeth out...  
Do you run after them, wait? Or is your kid good for you and doesn't run away when he's gonna get in trouble? He doesn't run from my husband..  

I dont chase. I add minutes to their time out.

i used to do that when i was little, and when my dad caught me hed spank the daylights out of me 

but if my DD did this, id wait and add minutes to the time out as the mama above said.

I don't chase him.. I count lol.. Chasing is fun for them. Counting works for me but not so well with others.. But yes I would add minutes to time out as well my son doesn't run though, he use to not anymore.

My son doesn't run. He just hides his butt from getting spanked (which doesn't work) I rarely spank him... I usually either put him in the corner or make him go to his room. (After picking up toys. If he doesn't, they go "in the garbage" which is just in a plastic bag in the cabinet.
