What are your thoughts? (D&D)

posted 6th Jan

What kind of parent are you? More to the left? Or more to the right? Or, you may be a little bit of both.
What are your thought's on the pictures message?

I'm a little of both, and I hate that we are pitted against each other all the time.

I think I'm more to the left.
Dh gives me crap for being so attached to the kids all the time, but they are only little for so long, ya know.

I mostly agree. I think both sides can easily turn into a "pissing contest" of sorts, and both annoy me. I'm more of a left though.

I bf, bedshare, and baby wear, but I do own and use a stroller. I even put a kiddo in the shopping cart sometimes.
I do agree with the quote. We're a society of convenience, not of closeness.

I completely agree with the picture.
I intended to be all left, but I had to formula feed. However I never left DD alone during a feeding, I always held her close so we could bond and be close. We did co-sleep until 10 months and I still wear her in my mya wrap.

Im a little of both. Before DD held her bottle on her own i always held it for her.
I cuddle and co-sleep with her but with her being so high needs i'll let her cry for a moment. And due to many reasons i dont baby wear.

Absolutely!

I've had to learn to rein in some of my opinions about things.

I agree with the quote, and I am much more to the left, but I'm not an SAHM.
My DD used to go in a stroller a lot as I had to use public transport and we couldn't afford a really good toddler carrier, but if she was upset I would get her out. Now she sometimes will go in her 'magic buggy', and I still talk to her while she is in it.

I don't see why people are in such a rush to detach from their kids. Bottle feed if you want, sure, but hold your smurfing kid instead of propping it up like that.

Probably more left. I like to think we do attachment parenting besides my lack of being able to breast feed. It feels so much more natural to me for attachment parenting that anything else.
