If your child has red hair

Did they have hair at birth? Or were they completely bald?

All the redheads in our families have been bald at birth. But I've mostly seen pics because I've never thought to look when they were babies since I was young. But I am curious if they had hair in the back like by their neck more and then had it fall out.

We are really hoping Scarlytt is a red head but at my u/s the tech said she could tell she had some hair on the back of her head down by her neck. So I was curious if the chance of a redhead is out now.

He had very little, and it has grown very slowly, but he's always been a red head!

DD had a little hair when she was born and it was red.

My sister is a redhead, we knew at birth. She had a orange glow.

My niece has the same color and we knew at birth too. It was darker red though at first.

You ladies are giving me hope haha!!! How cool would it be to have a girl named Scarlytt with red hair and a red birthstone  

He had fire red hair at birth....it fell out and now its more strawberry blonde

Yay!!! Plus it's not like I saw my cousins come out haha. By the time I saw them their hair could have fell out a little.

DD had strawberry blonde hair at birth. That fell out and now she's dirty blonde. I have a friend whose baby has red hair. She was born with quite a bit.

Yep. My son was bald until about 18 months or so.

My cousin was born with a head full of bright red hair! It's still the same color 18 years later.
