I posted a topic last night for a fever.Well it ended up hitting 103.6 shortly after I posted it. I ended up taking him through the ER cuz the closest Urgent Care was 35 mins away from me... anyways, poor baby has the flu. When we got to the hospital it was still 103.6. They got us in a room and it got to 104.3. They ran tests and did the nose swab thing. Told us it was the flu and gave us a prescription for tamiflu(sp)... Today when he woke up his fever was 102.1.(7 this morning) now its down to 99.7.... Barley even a fever now. Hopefully it stays that way Thanks for the advice last night ladies.

meee to! I feel so bad for him. He's been playing like normal but I can tell he don't feel good and his face is kinda puffy. I really hope no one else gets it.
We sat at after hours at Kaiser for over 2 hours yesterday before he was seen, but we didn't wanna spend $100 at an emergency room since he was okay other than the fever and obvious symptoms. All to find out, he has an upper respiratory virus and there is nothing we can do. Well, atleast we know it's nothing serious. We've been alternating Advil & Tylenol every 4 hours to keep his temp down. Obviously Advil works better.
