Do you think it's mean to let babies have a lick of a lemon slice or is it funny? If you did it with your kids how old were they and how did they react?

My mom gave me a lime when I was that age. She still goes on about how funny it is. Talks about it all the time. Everyone I bring around her ends up hearing that story eventually.

I wouldn't do it to my son but I don't think she was mean for doing it to me.

i gave one to my son when he was a little under 2 and he loved it.

I don't think its mean. My youngest loves them. She's also a big fan of lemon water.

We gave one to DD a little after she turned one, she laughed but the table of old ladies next to us looked at me like I was beating her.

Our daughter reacted that way with a pickle, but she wanted the pickle. I wouldn't do it just so I can laugh at my child.

I don't think it's mean, my nephew reacted like most of these kids at first but then ate the rest like it was good. He still eats them all the time.

i've let my daughter try lemons before. i knew what would happen, but she wanted them. she tried to keep eating it, but then gave up. lol

i don't think it's mean, as long as you're not forcing the kid to try it.

My kids BEGGED and reached for the lemon in my water so I let them have it and they DID NOT like it, I busted out laughing with both of them.

Whenever I gave my children lemon they wanted to try it. They would put it in their mouths pull the face and shudder then put it back in their mouths. In life you have to try things. I would only think it cruel if it was force fed.

I gave both my kids a lemon. They were a little older than that kid in the video. I knew they wouldn't like it, I just wanted to see their faces  so yeah, I did it to get a good giggle. Sue me.

I can't imagine anyone force feeding a baby lemon lol. I'd think that most people would hand their kids the lemon and they would eventually put it in their mouth like they do with everything else  

I don't think its mean. I remember when my aunt did it with my little cousin it was cute. I havent done it with my kids though. They are 4 and 14 months.

My son loves them. He cries for one when he sees me cutting them. Hes weird. The first time i gave him one trying to get the scrunch face, he just smiled and ATE the whole slice i gave him. Gangsta.
