do all autistic children have delayed speech

My daughter is nine theres always been something going on and now the school suspect she could have a form of autisum, but her speech is excellent. Eveything else has been delayed she dosen't seem to retain any information unless is related to a subject she wants know about.

From what I have read, pretty much. The exception is in children with Asperger's Syndrome.

Not all children. It depends on where they fall on the spectrum. Asperger's kids don't usually have delays.

DD is 10 and.is going to be evaluated for aspergers.. her speech is fine as well.

my son has aspergers and though he was a little delayed it was not due to autism, but to damaged ears. his speech is ok now (communication is a different matter though)
Aspergers doesnt usually present with a speech delay

no. my brother has aspergers and his speech was always advanced. but my other two did have delayed speech
