Post partum bleeding issues 4 weeks after birth

So it's been 4 weeks since I had DD. I bled for a few days & it slowed & stopped by about 2 weeks. I was wearing panty liners as I had the occasional brown spotting. Last week I started bleeding again. It's heavy and bright red. I've been passing clots too but not as large as golf balls. I decided to read up on post partum bleeding & discovered bright red blood this long after birth isn't normal, however I'm not lightheaded or dizzy. I'm soaking pads pretty quickly (back to the overnights as normsl pads wouldn't do me any good). I'm not over working myself. I spent most of yesterday on the couch & the flow was still very bad. My question is when should I be concerned or do you even think this is an issue now? Should I go to a walk in clinic or emerg if this isn't normal? I feel fine but I'm bleeding heavily & from everything I've come across, it's not good to have bright red bleeding this long after birth? Thoughts?

how long has this bout of bleeding been going on?

Maybe 4 or 5 days now

talk to your doctor, but it still could be normal.

i had this and i was soaking a pad in a hour for 5 days and passing massive clots too i had my pp bleeding 6 weeks after i had my LO and all worked out fine....

are you breastfeeding? my af showed up 4 weeks after stopping bf which was 6 weeks post partum and only about 2 days after the pp bleeding had finished if that makes sense. I was worried as it had gone from brown and then fresh blood with clots. I waited it out and sure enough it had finished within 7 days and af showed up again in 28 days so that was my conclusion. If you bf though i dont know.

I do bf. I was thinking it could've been AF as I was crampyish the first day but I don't know
