coughing/choking?

DS has been coughing and choking a lot today for some reason. He has been drooling a lot. I'm thinking he's starting to teeth. My question is, when your LO started teething did he/she get choked, on his/her extra saliva, often/???

Yep all mine did, nothing really helped for me at bedtime, usually sitting upright helped during the day. I'd just put them on their side.

He's *always* slept on his side or either upright in his bouncy seat so IDK what else to do   I'm scared to go to sleep because I don't want him to choke and not wake me up
