Probably a car tbh. He only gets bad when he drinks and he has never, ever hurt my LO. Idk. I dont want to divorce him, I dont want to leave. I just want him to get better.

Then he needs to commit to either rehab or intense cousling now. If he doesn't think he is doing anything wrong, then nothing is going to change... It will get worse. I think you are afraid of being alone or not finding anyone else, not of being without him.

I told my MIL the truth about what's been happening. She thinks I should go to Alanon and I think if she could get my FIL on my side, he would.make DH go to counselling
