Miscarriage on depo shot ?

I got on depo October 11, 2012. Little did I know, I just conceived almost 2 weeks before.

November 22, 2012 comes around and I found out I was almost 8 weeks pregnant. The only reason why I found out was because that was the day I had a miscarriage.

Fast forward to now. I want to know when will I be able to conceive again? I haven't had a period yet and I was supposed to get my next depo shot on January 3, 2013, (which I am NOT getting!!!)

Anyone else go through anything similar to this? What was the outcome? Did you fall pregnant again?

I heard of people m/c. Also I heard some had healthy babies. Me I am on the depo shot, got it a few days before you in Oct, Oct 5th, I was supposed to go back between the 21st of Dec and the 3rd of Jan, but did not cause I am TTC my first. I have read it can take up to 18 months before being able to have a baby. Something my DR forgot to tell me. Stupid me didnt look into before getting it. But maybe for you it will take a few months before you get a BFP.

I am so so sorry for loss, that you are going though this, mine wasn't easier also I was 8 week 3 days when I lost my angel.

I think I had a miscarriage on depo but my dr doesn't think that's what it was but it was 2 wks after I got the shot that I passed a tissue like clot. I got my first and last shot in march and was supposed to get another in June and didn't get it and we in ally conceived in November.

I was on depo for six years, had my last injection in May 2011, and got my BPF in Feb 2012. It doesn't always take as long as they say, I thought I was okay for another year after I got of the injection. I also had a healthy baby boy in Oct  

My little sister was on the depo shot, after having her first. She missed the second and got pregnant again about 8/9 months later.

Ok so I have similar issue going on. I got my first depo shot September 2012 and next shot they said was due end of December thru January. Well in the beginning of December I started spotting lightly which wasn't a big dealt but the bleeding didn't stop til I got the next shot. When I went jan 8ish to get it, my hubby had a suspicion that I was pregnant, but having been on depo from ages 19-22 without any pregnancy scares or periods, I told the hubs that it was very unlikely. Before they injected me they gave me a preg test and it was negative. My next shot is due end of this month-beginning of April and just like in December, I started to spot about a week ago. Wasn't concerned until a couple days ago it went from spotting to full blown heavy flow. I've read that it's common on depo to experience this but thought maybe it wouldn't happen to me since I never bled at all while on it yrs back. Back to the point of this story, yesterday afternoon I was bleeding and cramping pretty bad and I felt something gush out (sorry if its TMI) I went to check and as soon as I pulled my pants down a big chunk or sac like thing fell to the floor! I thought it was just a clot but when I cleaned it up I realized it was hard thick tissue from inside me. At that moment I had a flashback of my 2010 miscarriage... After returning from obgyn who confirmed I was miscarrying I started cramping real bad and ran to the bathroom and in the toilet was the same hard sac like tissue. I knew then when that happened that I had expelled my baby just like the obgyn said I would. So now when this happened yesterday I was in shock to see the same thing as before and I thought to myself Wth?.. I was pregnant? Had no idea and it was the furthest thing from my mind cuz I was always told that its hard to get pregnant while on depo and getting pregnant in the past took a few months of trying plus OPKs. I had an extra preg test so I thought to take it to see what it said and it said "not pregnant" so I'm wondering am I having a miscarriage or is test wrong? Or maybe the hcg has plummeted already? Based on my past miscarriage experiences I'm fairly sure that's what it is but the neg test is making me question. And if I am in fact in process of yet another miscarriage (this would be #3) that means I probably was pregnant when I went for last shot in January but it was too early to tell and that's y the preg test then was negative! Please don't be sad for me I'm kinda used to stuff like this happening to me and also I really am not looking to be pregnant again any time soon. My daughter is barely gonna be a yr on the 24th...I'm more just confused and shocked at the situation. Thanks for reading
