First period

I had my daughter on November 2nd and bled for 3 weeks stopped and started my period 2 weeks ago. I got the depo shot 2 days after I started. So my question is , is it normal to STILL be on your period? On Wednesday it'll be 3 weeks that I been on it, it's not heavy but kinda light. It's kind of annoying me already, do I call my ob?

Yes its normal and a side effect of the birth control.

It really depends on your body.
It could be a couple months or it could only be a few more days. The depo is a hormonal birth control and they are known for it.

I completely stopped bleeding 6 weeks PP.

i hated that about the depo. sometimes i bled for a month and it was light so not enough for a tampon, and turns out i am allergic to most pads. If it gets to much to handle the doctor can give you something to stop the period.

yeah, its light somedays and dark red, bt other days theres more and bright red, i really hate it. ill give a call tomorrow

hope it works out i got off the depo after like 9 months. and switched to the nuva ring was much easier for me to handle made my periods light and short.
