a talk w/ their child would be reaaally simple. "oh, that woman is feeding her baby."

And kids would be all " ok". They don't complicate things like us adults do.

My 3 year old finds bottles very odd and asks why the baby can't have a boobie all the time. He says when his sister comes she's gonna eat my boobie because it will make her big and strong like him. He says they're yummy and that she LOVES boobies!

And he pretends to be mommy sometimes and asked me if I wante to pretend to nurse, so I laid my face on his bare chest and made yummy noises and he said "my boobies make lots of milk. You'll grow very big!" And then proceeded to tell me I needed to take a nap.

Yup---boobs are normal around here! Nipple doesn't even phase him.

I was pissed when my ex's grandma covered me. I said "You dont eat with a blanket over your head, neither will she." Lily's "Aunt" found it cool and I loved explaining it to her (I miss that kiddo). But the whole family sucked.

My daughter hated being covered! She was a pro the second she was born to latching and eating from my boobies but put a blanket or cover on her and it was like she was fighting it off of her! Now i was most comfortable wearing a t-shirt with a little extra room that allowed me to lift the bottom enough to have my daughters head exsposed but my boob was always covered the most anyone might have ever seen is a little of my love handle on the side. In 14 months of breast feeding my youngest i never had anyone give me looks or say anything cept one women and she shut up real quick when i informed her of my states local laws that forbid any person or establishment from forbidding me from breast feeding in a public setting, and that if she wished to continue this conversation it could and would be with my lawyer who would be more then happy to get her information to send the summons papers to for illegally infinging upon my rights to BF in public (she and her kids hauled ass out of the game and pizza palor pretty quick after that conversation and the managment appologized multiple times and comped us for their resterant supervisor who stupidly relayed the womens complaint to our table not knowing he couldn't legally say anything against me breastfeeding. sorry it's long but thats my experience.

I agree. It was super simple when my sister told my nieces and nephew and my best friend told her son and daughter. They just asked and after that they didn't even notice anymore. My one niece was really interested in it so she would watch sometime and have me explain things to her but other than that they never brought it up again. It is only weird and taboo if the parent makes it that way, and that is not my fault if they do.

My hubs has no jiggle---I'd love it if he never wore a shirt again. My neighbor got drunk and told me she loves it when DH does yard work
