just shy of 13 months. Kinda outta the blue, she'd been cruising for months and would take a few steps while holding my hand, but wouldn't even try it on her own.

My daughter was an only child. She was very slow to crawl, stand and walk. But she's a friggin genius. I'm told that it's quite common for only children. My mom says I took forever to walk, but my sis took half the time because she was trying to get away from me LOL

1st baby: 14 months
2nd baby: 11 months
3rd baby: JUST turned 12 months Dec 28th and isn't quite there yet.

I wouldn't worry too much. I didn't walk until I was 17 months(I was stubborn and still am lol) and I had an older brother to follow around too.

He started attempting to take steps at 11 1/2 months, and by his 1st bday he was full on walking like I champ. It happens so quickly! Before then he NEVER tried and had just started cruising furniture. We thought he would never walk...It'll happen out of the blue and before you know it and then he'll be running!
