I was just about to ask if you were of Irish or Polish background. Perhaps that is why I like the area (not the racist part, racism sucks.) I agree though, there are alot of junkies all over the place now, also crime is really spreading  . That is terrible about your window. Even my neighboorhood has changed alot over the years. I've driven through mt airy, beautiful homes. Not too familiar with chestnut hill though.
