sick toddler

Day has been showing a few odd signs that he is sick. I talked to the invalid nurse at his pedi's office and she said if he seemed to get worse the. Bring him in. He has vomited a few times, has a runny nose, and a cough and a rash on his chin and cheeks. I haven't been able to get an accurate temp because he wouldn't sit still longlong enough. I decided to try to get it rectally, it came out at 100.1 so not too bad. This all started last weekend. Should I try and wait it out until Monday? I don't think it is emergency room appropriate but I do.tt want it to be serious. He has also been pulling at his ears. So I suspect an ear infection. Tia

Anyone have any ideas? He has a rash still on his chin and cheeks, checked his temp again before bed, it was 100.3. Still pulling at his ears. He has the cold symptoms, runny nose and cough. He has stopped vomiting though, thank god! Just wondering if anyone's LO has had these symptoms. Can't get him in until at least Monday late afternoon.
