Feel like a dairy cow!! tmi

I have way too much milk! Let down hurts, and If I lift my shirt I will have milk spraying out both sides. LO is growing great, but its getting out of control lol. She let go today and I had 3 streams coming out spraying all over her face. I started nursing just one side at a time weeks ago and it hasn't helped. Sometimes she chokes on it ad I feel bad because I have no control of my own body.

Try pumping just before a feed that's what I had to do

That's what I was thinking too.

Pumping first will help short term, but stimulates your breasts to keep producing more milk than you need long term. How old is the LO? It takes about six weeks for your milk supply to establish and regulate. It gets better after that!

I'm sorry that made me LOL for real :/ it really sprays?? I've dribbled on DDs face lots lol and I've accidentally sprayed while pinching my nipples.
But yeah, try pumping some

Or if you don't want to stimulate more milk production you could hand express then feed. It's basically the same just less stimulation.

Mine sprays too! I don't ever remember it happening with my first. DD always pulls away a few times so when she does, I just catch the milk with a burp cloth or something and let it go until it stops spraying, and then latch her on again. Sometimes I hand express. Also leaning back and kind of laying her on me seems to help (I think I got that from Kellymom).
You could try cold compresses as well.
