Sling question

Is a sling handy? I never used one with my others but we didn't go out much either. What are the pros and cons to it?

I like mine but I got it as a present. I wouldn't go buy one like I have, if you really want a sling buy a ring sling. But if you want something that'll last longer and your hubby MIGHT wear get a carrier like ergo is nice.

I have a coupon to get a free one that cost $50.

I loved my sling, it was great. Plus it held her in such a way that she could nurse, and I could still walk around and take care of stuff, even grocery shopping. I can't really think of any cons, to be honest.

I just think it would come in handy when we're at DS & DH ball games so I don't have to carry (really and feed easier) plus if DD2 decides to run off I don't/won't have to get her with a stroller.

I think that's right. Its a couple down, sorry I'm on my phone.

It's not adjustable and hurt like after 10 minutes. I suggest a ring sling, they're much more comfy. Or a moby, after you learn to wrap it it's great.

Those look comfier than the one I had. They have a wider top so it goes over your shoulder to distribute baby's weight better. Mine had a thin strap.

Very true   you may have to pay shipping but even that is worth a shot.

If you're talking about the Seven Slings. They are cheap and SUCK...and they're always 'free' +shipping! It's not even worth the $6...

I have a Peanut Shell, it's very nice! I don't use it nearly as often as I should, I leave it in the car & only throw it on for really quick trips. We used a wrap when she was younger, I'm just a stroller kinda girl.
