At the very least, the moron should lose his job. I think that would be fair enough.

I used to go to the Galleria all the time, but I was too young at that time to notice any snootiness. I would of put a bunch of smurf in my arms and then taken it to that lady and say "you are right, Im too cheap to shop here. Put this smurf away!" and let her deal with it

I picked out like 4 or 5 REALLY expensive dresses and made her set me up a fitting room. Tried all of them on for my bf and then left them all in the dressing room without buying any. I used to work retail (Macy's, Willowbrook) and I know how smurffy it is when people leave stuff in the dressing rooms. But be rude to me and I'll be rude right back! lol

I can agree with that.

Please tell me that was sarcasm. People's general attitude toward suing, such as yours, is the reason it continues so heavily today. It's absurd. I'd happily help this women make a change to this stores policies, but she lost all credibility when she said she was considering suing them.

My father makes all kinds of comments about me breastfeeding my 14 month old, guess I should sue him because some of the things he says can be hurtful. Guys think I could get a cool 100k or so? I mean who cares who's lives I ruin in the process? I got money!

Yes & good luck with that. Here is a story of a woman & her Dh (who "had something to say") were escorted out of a store by security & police officers...and her Dh WAS a police officer & the original complaint? She was breastfeeding a FOUR week old in the electronics department of Target. http://crunchydomesticgoddess.com/2009/12/01/police-called-breastfeeding-mom-michigan-target/

If you had continuing reading, you would have known that I wouldn't have sued in this situation.

I'm so glad the first few pages everyone acts like they were so well INFORMED about the nurse-in. lol

First off, she was screamed at... by the store manager in front of everyone and told she had to leave. From everyone that was sitting there she was the ONLY one that was told to leave and it was specifically for breastfeeding.

Second, this is not the first case. Back in 2010 Naomi Yay was physically removed from the dressing room and told to leave by a manager for breastfeeding her baby in there, discreetly.

Third, don't worry. Hollister was notified prior to nurse in. Corporate was notified prior to news media. Before you say anything about oh, she went straight to the news... no. Be quiet. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. She called the best of babes hotline and Michelle Hickman contacted corporate on her behalf. Have you ever called corporate for Hollister? Probably not, or else you would know that its basically a voice message that says to send an email. So she sent an email. No response. NOTHING. at all.

If you say you support breastfeeding... but...

You don't support breastfeeding. How about you do your research and actually look into the reason why the nurse in was held before you automatically start spreading around false information.

LASTLY, She said she would look into legal action. She doesn't have a case. She cant sue because there is no enforcement provision. The store manager of Hollister can't demand a handicapped person, black person to leave because its discrimination and there is legal consequences. But a nursing mother, even though she has a right to breastfeed, it's not protected. lol

No. He should be reprimanded, like I would at my job for yelling at a customer. But really Hollister should implement better policies so that it doesn't happen again. Like I said before this isn't the first time.
