Breathing issues after steroid shots?

posted 5th Jan
Just curious... I was given steroid shots for the baby's lungs at 31 weeks. They thought that I would have her by 35, but she's still hanging out.

Just wondering if anyone has had or knows someone who's had a baby that still had breathing issues after steroid shots and being born after 35 weeks.

There's already an 80% chance that she'll need an exchange transfusion. I just don't know if she'll be able to handle that along with breathing issues if she comes early.

I worry too much. Its been 4 weeks since I got the shots. I have dreams that she's going to die.   depressing.

ouch I had those its just pregnancy horomones mixed with fear
the more time in there the better shot or not there are not really alot of negative side effects to it and what bit there is are immediet or effect you and not the baby
if you were given the shot and managed to keep the bun in that oven your doing great within two more weeks you could have at totally normal delivery while its best to keep em in as long as possible 37 weeks is usually considered term depending our hospitals here say 35 is safe to let women labor naturally and not have preterm babies just rest and relax knowing that you kept her in there longer than people thought and watch for kick counts

She's a constant mover. Has hiccups a lot. I'm off of strict bed rest but I refuse to do anything.
