side ideas needed.

i'm not used to cooking only one dish... it doesn't seem appropriate. lol. anyway, we're having some friends of ours over tomorrow for dinner and i'm thinking something cheap (cause we're in between paychecks, both get paid friday next week) and filling. i was looking at my recipes and i think i'm going to do beef stroganoff because i already have most of the things for it and it would be filling and yummmmmy. so anyway, it just feels wrong to not make something to go along with it. so does anyone have any ideas of a side to go with it? i was thinking maybe salad to go with it, but idk. i've never seen anyone pair anything with it before.

Mashed potatoes? Then u can use some

Salad or green beans and rolls

I have made green bean casserole with it in the past, mostly because I was craving it but it was a big hit for my dinners.

No, the way I would make it is. Beef with sauce then a side of rice. No noodles in our recipe.

I thought everyone used noodles, lol, I thought was what made it stroganoff.

It's stroganoff because it's Russian but apparently it is really popular in Japan so maybe that's where you get the noodles influence from. You could do the noodles as a side.
