doppler? where did you get yours?

I just checked walmart.com and babiesrus.com and they both had 1 each...and both looked like crap. The one on babies r us had all terrible ratings even, lol

I want a decent one with a mid-range price....any suggestions?

I started at 10 weeks but that's because I got the doppler at 10 weeks. Most women are able to pick up the HB at 9 weeks and some even at 8.

If you are super skinny, i've seen them picking it up at 12 weeks lol My fat ass can't find anything   Can't wait till I can though! lol I can find my artery and my heartbeat just fine, and I did catch him squirming about and kicking the other day but just too much flubber to get a good heartbeat just yet for me.

Keep looking. It took me about 30 minutes to find it the first time because I'm fluffy.

I'm a bit past fluffy   I'm 250 (was recently 300 but lost 50 lbs due to a severe health issue) so i have a lot of extra everything everywhere. We had an ultrasound yesterday and they said the baby sounded healthy so I know he's ok in there just frustrating I can never find it lol I even tried a pillow under my butt today because not only am I morbidly obese, but I also have a tilted uterus >.< lol

The tilted uterus is actually probably making harder than the extra fluff. What's your BMI?

The calculator thingy I just did said 41.6. I'm a short smurf lol Just hit my second trimester and haven't gained a single pound. Doctor said that was fine and considering my weight the baby was very unlikely to be going without anything and I agreed that there was probably plenty on me for him to get nutrients off of lol I barely eat because of a surgery I had in april, killed my appetite entirely so I have to force myself to eat now and drink calorie stuff like ensure to get the bare minimum of calories for the day. It's a pain in the arse but at least I'm getting lots of extra vitamins and stuff
