Stomach Bug going around?

My son has had diarrhea for the past 2 weeks. Today he started running a fever and he's all congested. I took him to the doc last Thursday but he said it was a stomach bug...but has anyone else had one this long? I'm starting to get worried

The runs for two weeks is way more than a stomach bug, those last a few days at most   I would def be making another appointment

I know....He's getting to were he doesn't even wanna eat that much. Gosh i hope whatever it is passes soon.

Diarrhea can actually last a good 2 weeks. If it continues past the 2 weeks I would be making an appt to be seen. They will probably do a stool sample. Is he vomiting at all?

My whole house had it. But we each had it 2 days max

My son had it for 3 weeks when he was 8 months old it was horrible he had to be hospitalized twice, they ran all sorts of tests but the Dr's couldn't give a good diagnosis besides him having a really bad stomach bug.

We got it here too.  . It sucks and it lasted a few weeks.

My 9 month old had that a while back. Hospitalized him for a few days. Finding out it was rotavirus... Lots of pedialyte

Nope not vomiting. When he first started getting sick he threw up twice and that as it. Ever since he's been out the other end.

Could be bacterial, my daughter had diarrhea for two weeks and that's what it was. She needed antibiotics.
