After losing baby

After losing baby at 6 weeks how long and often are you supposed to bleed for?
I passed my baby 2 days ago and the bleeding got light, and now it's heavy again.
Is that normal? how long should i be bleeding for?

I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks and bled for a little over a week, if I remember correctly. It was like a really heavy period. I started my period about 4 weeks later, then. What you're experiencing sounds normal. I am so sorry for your loss....

It will probably be about a week. My miscarriages that early, have basically physically felt like the worst period of my life.

I miscarried at 8 wks and bleed for a little over a week. I was told if you are having large clots then you may need to be seen but as long as you don't start running a fever, soak 1 pad per hour or bleed for more than 14 days you should be ok.

Sounds like it could be normal. My bleeding has been moderate with some heavy with others. Taken 2 days to 4 weeks to quit. As long as you are not sapling more then a pad an hour you are fine

I lost my baby around 5-6wks. I bled for 12 days. The first few days were heavy, then I passed the baby & it pretty much stopped.

Alright I just went to the bathroom and i passed about 2 clots the size of a pinky maybe, not sure what to compare it too, is that normal?

Yeah, it's pretty normal. I've heard some people say that their doctors said to call for something larger than their thumb...my doctor says anything smaller than your palm is fine....

Ok thank goodness, I just wanted to check because i reallllly don't feel like sitting in the ER.

Yeah normal. You will be passing chunks of stuff. Call if bigger then your fist

Well, I started bleeding On Jan 1st, and passed the baby 3 days later than a day or 2 after clots, but now it's a semi heavy bleeding but i am not soaking a pad every hour, and right now i am lightly cramping but it's uncomfortable cramping...So ready for it to all be over, and thank you <3
