We both lock our phones, they have the same code to open them though. We've had problems with our toddler calling people...including 911. We have nothing to hide from one another but we don't go searching through each other's phones.

Due to prior relationships ive always gone ape smurf on anyone who goes into my phones or any of my things online.

Its an automatic self defense system. SO hates it but hes been comming to terms with it,

He knows none of my passwords, he doesnt know my screen unlock to my cell or tablet

We lock our phones due to DD trying to play on them. We have each other's password to everything, Actually, we use the same password to everything but our phones.

My SO doesn't have a phone but when he did he just had a regular lock where you press a button and it unlocks. I have a pass code lock on my phone just because I'm afraid of people stealing it.

Quoting ShellyBurger:" Does your SO/DH lock their phone like they are trying to hide something? Do they make a big deal if you ever go near their phone?"
We both have a lock code on our phone but we both know all our passwords and it's not a big deal.
I had an ex that did that and he was cheating though.

My husband's phone is a corporate Blackberry.. he locks it ALL the time. I don't know the password, and I'd never ask for it.

Our phones and computers are our 'private' spaces, that get locked up, with passwords that only we know. I am absolutely comfortable with this and wouldn't change a thing, in fact I believe it's healthy and a trust exercise.

If something bothers me, I'd rather speak up than snoop..

We both lock our phones, but only because if we were ever to lose them we don't want someone having access to info & pics on them. We do have the passwords to both though... I always play with his phone, and he plays with mine. It would be a red flag if he stopped letting me or freaked out about it.

We both have locks on our phones because of DS, but we both know each others codes because we use the same code for nearly everything. We don't look through each others phones, but we do use each others phones...if that makes sense.

If my husband began acting weird with his phone when I was around or locked it in a hurry I would probably think he was doing something stupid...like looking a porn or ordering something off of Amazon that he didn't want me to know about.

DH and I both have a pattern lock. He knows my pattern and I know his. It's not that we hide things from each other but we respect each other's privacy.. If I ever need his phone he lets me borrow it and vice versa.

When I was with my SO he locked his, for what reason I dont know. we never had trust or cheating issues. Im not with anyone and I still have a lock on my phone. I guess it all depends on the person. Because I have nothing to hide, yet I have my phone locked.

my SO does and I hate it..he has cheated, and I think that's why the lock code bothers me..he won't give me the password or anything..he has freaked on me a couple times for touching his phone. But me on the other hand, I don't have one and don't feel the need for one
