questions about water breaking!

My water was broken by the doctor with my daughter.
So can u explain what happened when yours broke & what you were doing? I'm nervous about mine!!

irst time I was sleeping and I woke to pee. it just flet like a warm trickle. kinda gross. the second time i was standing and hugging my dh through a contraction and i felt the trickle.

I had just finished going on a walk with SO. I sat down in the backyard with him and felt a pop and a gush. And every time I would stand up or move it would come out more. I didn't start contracting for a few more hours. Most women don't have their water break until they're in active labor though

Thank you, i've been feeling a ton of pressure prob his head moving down and i'm nervous that my water will break at a bad time, or it will hurt for some reason lol i had an epidural when they broke my water so all i felt was warmness

Even if it does break before labor starts, it doesn't hurt.

well i was sleeping and i rmember feeling something come out but just thought it was normal nasty pregnancy goo... but then i woke a few minutes later and went pee and took my panties off too change them because they were wet and i had on a night gown and water ran down my leg... i kne it was my water and i went in they said i peed myself! grrrrr but later that day i felt a big gush and and then it kept on coming and I knew it was my water for sure.

I was sleeping and rolled over and I thought I was peeing myself, so I tried to hold it in and ran to the bathroom leaking everywhere. I 'peed' for an eternity and it smelt like bleach so I was like oh snap. Baby's coming. Then contractions started.

I woke up to go pee. I was about to go back to bed but all my fur babies were looking at me but I laid down and got up two seconds later because I wanted to pet my dogs before I go to bed. I got up and pop. I felt something pop and then I'm like what the? My dogs came to me and sniff me. I had stuff leaking. I thought I was peeing on myself. I went to pee, more came out. I was like that's some clear ass piss! So I went back to my bedroom and woke up DH. I told him my water broke. He flew up and help me pack, told me to shower and get ready and that he's going to get the car ready.

I was in antepartum with cramps. I felt like I had to pass gas really bad and my water popped and splashed out everywhere.

LOL! The nurse had actually left to get my discharge papers. I hadn't progressed past 3cm and she said that I was exaggerating. My water broke not even 5 minutes after she left the room, and when she checked I was at 10 and she had to hold my legs shut to get me into a delivery room. She apologized a million times.

It sucks but its true. Pretty sure we know our bodies better than anyone though.
